About Scum Scrubbers
Shower Door Restoration Backed by Glass Industry Experience
At Scum Scrubbers, we believe that a shower enclosure showing signs of age doesn't always need to be replaced.
Built on hands-on experience in the glass industry, Scum Scrubbers specializes in restoring, repairing, and maintaining existing shower doors and enclosures.
Our understanding of glass, hardware, seals, and enclosure construction allows us to approach each project with a focus on practical solutions, attention to detail, and preserving what's already there whenever possible.
Don't Replace. Restore.
Our Story
Experience in Glass. A Focus on Restoration.
Scum Scrubbers was built on years of hands-on experience in the glass industry and a simple belief: an aging shower enclosure shouldn't automatically mean starting over.
Through our experience working with glass and shower enclosures, we've developed an understanding of how these systems are constructed, how their components function, and what can happen as they age.
Cloudy glass, deteriorating silicone, worn seals, and malfunctioning hardware don't always mean an entire enclosure needs replacement. In many cases, targeted professional restoration and servicing can help restore appearance and functionality while preserving the original installation.
Scum Scrubbers brings that glass-industry knowledge to a specialized restoration service focused on evaluating existing shower enclosures, identifying practical repair options, and helping customers get more life out of what they already own.
Our philosophy is simple: Don't Replace. Restore. Whenever restoration is safe and practical, we believe it's an option worth exploring.
Experience That Makes a Difference
Glass Industry Knowledge
Our experience with shower glass, enclosure construction, hardware, and installation helps us identify issues that may go beyond ordinary cleaning. Understanding how these systems work allows us to approach restoration and repair with a more informed perspective.
Restoration-First Approach
We believe in preserving quality shower enclosures whenever practical. Rather than automatically recommending replacement, we look for opportunities to restore glass clarity, service hardware, replace deteriorated components, and improve enclosure functionality.
Honest Evaluations & Clear Expectations
Not every shower enclosure can or should be restored. We take the time to evaluate existing conditions, explain available options, and recommend practical solutions with realistic expectations about what restoration can accomplish.
Locally Focused. Professionally Driven.
